Maximum RnR "In Your Room / Ms. Everything" 7" Review

BRUISER QUEEN - "In Your Room/Ms. Everything" Fuzzy modern garage rock from this St. Louis duo. The vocals are amazing. They are strong and delicate while also projecting an odd-ish quality to keep it interesting. Parts 60s girl group, part Siouxsie Sioux. Unfortunately it means the music takes a backseat. The songs are catchy and simple, but exist to back up the vocals. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing. I like this a lot. (CK) (Certified PR)
